Soya Aoyama

Soya Aoyama is a Global Fujitsu Distinguished Engineer and a cybersecurity researcher at Fujitsu Defense & National Security Limited.

With more than 20 years of experience in Windows software development at Fujitsu, he has worked on a wide range of system-level components, including NDIS drivers, Bluetooth profiles, and WinSock-based applications.

Since 2015, he has focused on cybersecurity research, particularly on attack techniques leveraging Windows DLLs. He has spoken at numerous international hacker conferences, including GrrCON, DerbyCon, LeHack, and BSides Las Vegas. Since 2023, he has also served as a mentor at events such as BSides Las Vegas and BSides London.

Aoyama is also one of the founding members of BSides Tokyo and has been involved in the organization since its inaugural event in 2018.

Kamel is a cybersecurity specialist with over seven years of experience in cyber-physical security, focusing on IoT and smart product security. Fluent in English, Japanese, and Arabic, he provides security consulting, training, and assessment services to clients worldwide. As Vice President of the Car Hacking Village, he helps develop and manage vehicle security exhibits, promoting cybersecurity awareness and education in the automotive and connected transportation industries.
